Instructions

1

Prepare the Base

In a double boiler or heat-safe glass bowl over simmering water, melt the coconut oil and beeswax together until completely liquid.

2

Add Powders

Once melted, remove from heat and quickly stir in the ground turmeric, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

3

Pour and Set

Immediately pour the mixture into a clean, dry glass jar or tin. Allow to cool completely at room temperature until solidified.

Notes

Do not apply this warming balm to any open wounds or cuts since it will cause a sharp stinging sensation. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes, as the cayenne pepper can cause irritation. This balm will stain the skin due to the turmeric and cayenne pepper. To remove stains, massage some oil into your skin and then wash off with soapy water.

Dosage

Apply a small amount to sore muscles or joints, massaging gently into the skin. Use as needed for temporary relief. Test on a small area first to ensure no sensitivity.
