Instructions
Prepare Ingredients
Wash all ingredients thoroughly. Peel and chop the beetroot into small chunks. Core and chop the apple. Peel the ginger.
Juice Preparation
If using a juicer, process the beetroot, aronia berries, apple, and ginger through the juicer. If using a blender, blend all ingredients with 1/2 cup of water until smooth.
Add Lemon
Squeeze in the lemon juice and stir well to combine.
Strain
If using a blender, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
Notes
This juice is quite potent and may temporarily stain your teeth or tongue due to the beetroot. Drink through a straw to minimize staining. Start with a small amount if you are new to beetroot juice, as it can have a strong detoxifying effect.
Dosage
Start with 100ml (about 1/2 cup) daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach. Gradually increase to 200ml if well tolerated.
